How to confirm the version of your tablet?

Mini 3GS, on first glance, it is really a sizable phone. It is a type of Pad&Phone as i introduced in last review. After we take a good look at the device, somehow, you may love it.

On the front, the bezels around the display are narrow—make it appears smaller than it really be. And one thing you won’t find on the device is a set of capacitive soft keys. Above the display sits the earpiece, while a front-facing camera resides in its right.
The edges are uninterrupted, except the top. The top, however, seems a little busy—includes micro-USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, volume rocker, power button and a SIM& SD-card slot.
Now we turn to the back, which itself is a study in symmetry and simplicity. Two blocks of polycarbonatetakes up the top and bottom, while the silver-metal centered between them. The rear camera lies in the top left corner (no LED flash).
DISPLAY
3GS features a 7.9 inch IPS LCD panel, with a gorgeous resolution of 2048*1536. It offers natural colors with amazingly crisp fonts and a generally beautiful canvas for playing games or watching movies.
On top of all that, the screen delivers some great viewing angles, and is bright enough that you should have little problem reading it in direct sunlight. In short, it performances great.
Performance

Battery Life
The battery life on 3GS is decent. I have used it all afternoon (wifi on, Bluetooth on, running games, watch videos), and the batter only down of 30%.
Media playback
I tested several 720p and 1080p videos on 3GS. Fortunately, there are no issues playing these videos.
WRAP-UP
The 3GS offers a lot: an excellent display, solid performance and large capacity battery, though a little big. Personally, 3GS is good choice if you want to buy a satisfactory handset.

S7800 is the first JXD’s model features a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery.
It comes with front and rear cameras, stereo speakers, HDMI port and a series of buttons (dual analog joysticks, a set of four navigation keys on the right and four-way controller on the left, two analog triggers and two shoulder buttons )—all are designed for gaming. The touch panel smacked in between the buttons. Although many Android games are designed for touchscreen controls — and you can us the 7 inch touchscreen to play if you’d like. Games that support physical controls, however, you can use the D-pad, analog sticks, shoulder buttons, and others.
Unfortunately, in the few days’ review, the feelings of touch is not so good—I must press heavily when opening apps. And the screen is not sensitive when gaming. Maybe, the physical buttons compensate for the touch panel.
PERFORMANCE
It features a 7-inch IPS with a gorgeous resolution of 1280*800 and provides large viewing angles, saturated colors. The pixel density reaches 216PPI.
With its 5000mAh lithium polymer battery, it has no problem with 4-hour large game’s playing (wifi on). And according to the official data, it can last 8 hour for games of continuous use.

It is a gamepad more than a tablet. Testing out the S7800 with a handful of games that include such as Shadowgun, Asphalt, NBA 2K13, Samurai2( all are run smoothly on S7800). Instead of using those pesky touch controls, S7800 frees things up – giving me enough real estate to enjoy the action on display.
For first person shooters, I am able to rely on the dual-analog sticks for precise controls. The delay between inputs on the gamepad to the actions performed in the game were nonexistent as every input resulted in an immediate response. Even better, the various main buttons, shoulder buttons, and analog triggers help to make it simple to operate. In short, FPS benefits a lot from the S7800.
Shadowgun
It is pleasant when I playing racing games on S7800. Moving around the sticks, frankly, feels better than touching on the screen. Also, I can see the whole picture instead of blocked by fingers.

JXD also points out that the tablet can run a series of emulators that let you play classic games for the PS1, Gameboy, and other consoles. And I have tested the classic game that once popular on PSP—Street Fighter
CONCLUSION
Frankly, it is more like a PSP that shipped with Android, and it can run most games smoothly. If you love playing games,but annoyed by the way of control, maybe, S7800 is a good choice.

How to flash custom rom? Here we go:
1. Making a complete backup of your device to save apps, data and settings.
2. Making a backup of your IMEI number if your device has phone call capability.
3. Installing a custom recovery.img like CWM or TWRP that allows you many options like installing updates from zip files without having to flash with a PC.
Steps:
1. Run the Flash_tool.exe
2. You will see a screen that looks like this:
3. Click “Scatter loading” button.
4. Browse to the RileyROM folder and select the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt file and press “Open”.
5. At this point, you need to remove the battery from your device and connect the device to a USB 2.0 port on your PC (USB 3.0 is not supported). You should start hearing the “dings” in Windows to signify that it detects your device.
6. Click the Download button on the Flash Tool.
7. If your device is connected properly, you will see the percentage bar change colors and start running. The one to watch is the yellow bar that goes from 0-100% indicating that the ROM is being flashed.
8. You will then get a window with a green circle, indicating that the flash is complete.
9. When the flashing process is done, disconnect the USB cable and replace the battery in your device and turn on the device. Your device will then boot into the newly installed ROM.

It has 2 version: 512MB RAM + 8G ROM, 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM. Maybe some guys think 512MB RAM is too low, so the factory re-introduced a 1GB RAM one from the consumer’s point of view.
